GC Riders Gran Canaria ("GC Riders", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through gcriders.com and the GC Riders app, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data protection law (LOPDGDD).

What Data Do We Collect?
Contact form. Name, email address, chosen topic and your message, used solely to reply to your enquiry.
Newsletter. Your email address, used to send our monthly ride report email. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
Membership. If you join the club or subscribe to Black Membership, we process your name, email and subscription status. Payments are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play; we never see or store your card details.
Technical data. Our hosting provider processes standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance. Where analytics or cookies requiring consent are used, they are only activated after you accept them via the cookie notice.
Why Do We Process Your Data?
We process data to respond to enquiries (legitimate interest and pre-contractual steps), to provide membership services (contract), to send the newsletter (consent), and to keep the site secure (legitimate interest). We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who Do We Share Data With?
Only service providers needed to run the site: our hosting provider, our email delivery provider and, for paid memberships, Apple or Google as payment processors. Each acts under data processing terms compliant with the GDPR. We do not transfer your data outside the European Economic Area unless the provider offers adequate safeguards recognised by the European Commission.
How Long Do We Keep Your Data?
Contact form messages are kept for up to 12 months after resolution. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Membership data is kept for the duration of your membership plus the periods required by Spanish tax and commercial law.
What Are Your Rights?
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing at any time by writing to info@gcriders.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish supervisory authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).

We may update this policy as the site and app evolve. The date at the top always reflects the latest version.
